A stoner comedy can be lazy, loud, and forgettable, or it can surprise you by being way more watchable than it has any right to be. We hit play on Mac and Devin Go to High School (2012) expecting the usual “weed movie” formula, then immediately start noticing the little things that work: the laid-back pacing, the comfort-watch feel, and how Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa carry the whole vibe just by being two totally different kinds of people in the same story.

Kyle and I are back recording with some new equipment, so I'm sure you guys have already heard a very, very noticeable sound difference and a lot clearer. Yeah, I'm excited about that, to be honest. Oh, yes, yes. Um guys, uh, we have a lot to cover, but uh good news is that we're still on the 420 movie review. And this one, um, you know, for all the stoners out there in music junkies, uh, we're gonna go ahead and cover Mac and Devin Go to High School. Um, this was a very interesting one because it came out in 2012 with two, you know, icons and hip hop. Snoop Dogg, obviously, you know, I think he was just born smoking marijuana right out of the loan. And uh another legend of OG was Khalifa, which is crazy to say that he's an OG now because he's been in the game for like over a decade and he's still relevant. Um, not gonna lie. Um so you remember the guy that plays on everybody and Everybody Hates Chris and Abbott Elementary? Yeah. Why did I think for like the first quarter of the movie, Mike? Is that him? I don't think he was that old in 2030. But you but you know what, but Wiz is really tall though. So I think I think him and Snoop, because I think they're both like 6'2 or 6'4 or something like that. Oh yeah. Um, but yeah, bleakers. I mean, we're we're definitely gonna discuss this one because um I you know you hear us both giggling, but I was rather impressed. Oh overall, I'm I'm kind of surprised they even admit that on this one. I'm glad to see, you know, the Blackstone movie is successful. But this one

First Impressions And Low Expectations

I have to admit I actually like more than I thought I would. So, Kyle, I'm gonna start with you. Uh, first question is uh what was your first impression of the movie overall? So my initial um impression was like, oh great, it's gonna be another Wii movie, it's probably gonna be pretty bad. But um even with opening up with that uh fake um that live action uh Wii and him just giving us an idea of what the story's gonna be like, I freaking love it. Um but yeah, initially I'm like, oh god, it's gonna be just like you know any other. But I'm like, well, Snoop Dogg is different, so let's see, you know, what this is about. Okay, okay. I um I I definitely agree. I I know Snoop has been in movies, uh, some that were questionable, some were a little better than others, but I believe that this is his own production. Um, and I feel like this movie uh gave me a little bit of Friday vibe, a tad bit, and then um a little bit of I don't know if you've seen that movie. I think it might have came out around maybe two years afterwards uh the movie dope. Okay, so it it kind of gave me both like to you know the DNA from both movies, like kind of into that. Um I uh I'm a big I'm a big Whisky Leeper fan. Uh for all the bleaks out there, I am very 420 friendly. Um and I really enjoyed just that movie in general. I

Cameos And Character Roles That Work

apologize, that was my phone, I had to take that off. But um I was surprised with actually the cast because there was actually some other celebrities in there I was not expecting on a budget film like this that really kind of surprised me. Andy Melochin Minocula knees down, yeah. Like that stood out to me. I was like, okay, that's that's interesting, and mystical uh as the little cone, as the little joint, as the narrator. That's okay, that's why I was like, I recognize that voice, but I couldn't put it together until I saw it in the credits. I'm like, oh my god, the James Brown rap. Like he you know what, Bleaks? Like I have to say this. One thing about this movie I thought was very interesting is that I like how ironically Wiz was like the straight A, like narrow student who's like not tatted, but you know, like, oh, I don't mess with marijuana, why would you do that? Snoop, I just feel like he was just being himself.

I when I was watching that, I said, Wow, this is like a good representation of me, me being Wiz Khalifa throughout that whole time. And then there's this one person that's Snoop who is himself the whole time, all of the time. And I really gain I really gained some inspiration from this. Oh more more particularly because it's about being present, being in the moment. And Snoop Dogg is pretty much says like, hey, I'm gonna smoke my weed, I'm gonna enjoy my moment. Whereas, you know, Whisk Leepa is like, oh no, I'm thinking about my future, and I'm like, wow, I'm being called out on this. So that that's a very good point. That that's that's something I didn't even think about how that movie can speak to an audience where you know, and it is important because you know, bleaks as we know, and for all the bleaks across the globe, shout out to all y'all for all your support, it's sticking with us. You know, life can suck at times. You know, I always am a firm believer that being an adult is great if you have your shit together, but if you don't, it can fucking suck. Like just hands down. And I really like how you know whiz you saw the stress that he was going through just to keep someone else in his life. You know, that was that stood out to me because some you know, many people out here in the world will, you know, not be their souls or put their lives on hold for someone just to accommodate them or stay with them or whatever. Yeah, well, in this case, it was you know, him living up to his girlfriend's expectations, which I love at the very beginning, like, hey, bitch alert, this is a controlling bitch alert, and I'm like, Yeah, I mean it's the truth. For the blinks who haven't seen the movie, I will say Loki, she was a Karen. She was like a Karen in training. That that's exactly what she was to me. Yes, absolutely. You know, and uh you know, one person we speak of when we were talking about like just as far as Friday, like Epps, yeah, him being the teacher, like like I think it was appropriate to have in that movie because yeah, you know, because he was he was funny when he says, like, he says something like, Oh, this nigga ain't got no future. He like tossed the paperwork, like as far as like the grades he was doing and stuff like that. Man, and I think didn't he sell out Snoop or I think like Snoop, he had some marijuana for him, and then like he had to do this last bit of a test or something, and then it was like, Oh, how did you find out about this? And I think he like he sold him out, but well, and that was kind of what I was thinking too. Because but then again, that assistant principal was I'm sorry, but he was envious of this guy, he was envious of Snoop, so he's just trying to find any reason, any reason. Oh, I okay, that's funny you say that because too his name's Skinflute, you know. So I I think what when I think of Skinflute, I think of that scene from Aqua Teen Hunger Force Across is uh your mom can play a pretty mean skin flute, and so I'm like that name in itself like just really stood out to me. And I uh I would say who Lunel being a person. We only saw like a cameo of her, she wasn't even in the movie for that long. But you know, another act actor slash musician musician, excuse me, who stood out was her name Tierra Mann. Because I've seen her off a lottery ticket. Yeah, I've never seen lottery tickets. Okay, yeah, she she stood out because I had known, I said, damn, she looks really, really familiar. I just don't know exactly where, and then I've seen her in a few music videos and everything. Another actor, I know he's on that show, that Nick Cannon show. It's like they do the uh the Wallin'ow? Wildin' Out. His name is uh Fifion Crockett. He was like he was the one explaining the different cannabis, yeah, as as far as like the effects or whatever. And I think that's part of the reason why I like because it's like, man, this is highly educational. He's like, oh, pause the video because you're about to be high as that's a good point, too, because you know, I didn't even think about that. Where I I'll omit this. Is it one of the funniest stoner movies? No. I'm not even gonna lie about that. But what I will say is like if you're a novice person getting into 420 and you want like some good hip hop or some music or whatever, I think this is a good go-to because I like how uh Slowburn being the little joint was the narrator who he would even give you cues. Like, if you see this, that means it's time for you to hit it. Like, you know what I mean? And even Snoop, like he was educating Wiz on oh, if you smoke this, it's gonna make you feel this way. If you do this, it's gonna make you feel that way. So I I I did like it for that aspect.

Cannabis Education Hidden In Comedy

To switch gears here, I'm going to ask you our second point how did you feel about the the music for the movie? I actually liked it. When the song came out back then, I really didn't like it. And I was like, what's what's the point of this? But watching this movie and then hearing the song, it's like holy shit, this actually makes sense to me now. The I mean, even how they created it in the moment where Whiskey Leaf was high because he had that edible. Oh, yeah.

And he's like, hey, start singing, and then all of a sudden they both started flowing and rapping, and I'm like, man, this is this is intense. I like this. The I never it's like I never would have thought, like, oh yeah, these are I mean, these are the moments where music is actually created. That's true. They're being high, they're acting a fool, that sort of thing. And it was like, wow, sing it made me wonder like, did that actually happen in you know, in their own existence to create that, you know, to create that. I you know it's interesting. So I remember I don't know, no, did you watch past like the credits, like the bloopers and everything else? Yeah, so I thought I heard him, yeah. Lord, yes, I heard I watched some of it, especially like when Whisky Leaf was saying that was like his first acting. Yeah. So I think one thing that stood out to me was when Snoop Dogg said he said his son introduced him to Whisky Leaf. Because Snoop was already, you know, he's been in Git Rap for over 30 years, but he said his son was actually the one who introduced him to Wiz's music because he said, Oh no, dad, like this guy is like up and coming. To me, and for the police who don't know, um, I again I'm a huge Whiz Kalifa fan, just seeing his career just blossom. He is from Pittsburgh, and I I really enjoy seeing artists mature with their music and their audience, you know, because Wiz to me, of course, he started out as like more of like a backpack underground rapper, and then he had this song Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow, yeah, that really just launched his career. But one thing I will always give him credit, he's never been in any like public drama. You know, he's really low-key, he's a family man. And to me, him as Snoop are in some ways very synonymous. You know, I feel like if Snoop was born on the East Coast, to me, he would have been like Whiz Khalifa, you know. Yeah, you know, I I agree with you there, but it that's crazy. Uh some of the best people are the ones that don't put their business out there. Yes, I I completely agree. And uh with the music, I mean, because I love that album. I this is and again, I've loved that album even before I even saw the movie. But like you can put it in a zag as one of my favorite songs, like, but I would definitely say you could definitely tell there was like cannabis inspiration with like the beats and like how mellow, you know, the music is. And it kudos to them on this. Even though this person was not in the movie, I think he could have put he could have played a cameo was Bruno Mars. Oh, yeah, no. I'm I'm I'm actually kind of surprised that they didn't have him in there at some point. I was I was really surprised too because that song, So What We Get Huh, like I'll I'll be honest, that was my least favorite song on that album years ago. I I think it I think to me it was because it was just so mainstream, yeah. And sometimes with certain songs for certain artists, I'm like, I'm a fan of this artist, but damn, I don't like it. We're like everybody's gotta like be on it. But I know what you mean. You know what I mean? Okay, so so since that time has passed, and I'm like, oh, you know what? I actually like this song now, like now that you know the hype is gone away, and you know I thought it was funny, they had the bishop Don Juan up in there. You know, it's interesting because like there's so many things, like technicalities, like one Snoop has failed like his senior 15 years. So by law, he can't even be in there, and then it's like I'm like, what like uh it's like you were just ghosting this whole time, yeah. It is like I but I kudos to he was messing with the teachers because he was an adult, so he couldn't really be messing with like the students or anything. Yeah, technically that would be legal, yeah, yeah. It's like so I was like, but uh this this you know we we love the music, and again, nothing really equate this to a musical, like in in in a sense where kind of like with centers, like you know, because when we think traditional musical, we think of like you know the little cue and everybody's dancing, like Broadway. Yeah, but this you know, wasn't that the case, you know. I think the the the one scene to me that kind of stood up Broadway-ish was the ending with like Wiz Khalifa giving his speech on the podium and everybody was like choreography, the dancing. Well, I'd like that uh talent show. So when they did that, when they were singing and then it um yeah, there was a talent show, and he had Snoopy killing it with the Soup. Yeah, oh yeah, like his swag throughout there, and you know, another thing that stood out too there was another musical group in there, they didn't play any music, but they cameoed in there. It was the far east movement, those three Asian guys who all they look freaking familiar, yeah. That was that was far east movement. That that was them with the like the dry race board where they were like getting in trouble or discipline from Mike Epps, he's just all got it under control. I had recognized them because I was like, Oh, that's far east movement, and I think that was around the time when they first came out, like or or you know, before they really had their like that hit or or whatever it was like a g6, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? So I had that really stood out to me when I was like, Oh, that's for East Movement, yeah. So sad that I didn't recognize and I used to love them back in the morning. Oh, really? Okay, so that's the thing because when I was looking at that movie, I was like, I said, Oh, you know, like to me, like Mac and Dev is like a hidden gem now, and and it's a thing. I don't know. Wild High Scenes And Personal Stories

on this. What was we talking about for the third point? What get high scene stood out to you the most? Oh man, when they had the group experience. Oh god, okay. I know what you can put this one, god that last one got me. I was like, oh lord, I was like the weed in her blue. Oh my god, yo, let's say something. If y'all seen this, that was like so so for for all the the the white fans out here, it was a white jackass moment, okay. But it wasn't from any black people in that scene. So for the bleak soft theory, y'all gonna be like, oh, that was some white people shit. Like that, that was that was them on that one. That was disgusting, but apparently I guess he had to do something. So I don't even want to spoil it, but you gave a little hint to it, but you guys can just make your own imagination as far as like the details of that thing, because I was like, oh god. So so what about you? What what was your favorite? I would say my least favorite was the scene we just spoke about, but my number one I I think that really stood out to me was when he the thing is like when he got high for the first time, and you know, he's now um it does depend on the strain of marijuana, okay? Because all marijuana not all marijuana is the same, and he can have adverse effects on different individuals. But what I will say is that how happy he was and how he had a different perspective on life, because that's one thing I will admit, me being an avid, you know, marijuana user, is that marijuana does open up different gateways and perspectives that you would not originally have, you know, any idea of or come across. And just from my own personal experience, I have had marijuana make me rethink even past decisions or things that I've done, or even my conscience where I felt guilty about something. You know, I've spoken to other marijuana users where they're like, oh yeah, I've I've you know, of course, we can make you happy, it can also make you uh paranoid and anxiety. I've had paranoia where I was like, yo, I don't even want to touch whatever the hell this strain was again, or edibles, I cannot die. Some people can do edibles that won't work. I I have tried edibles twice. Okay. First time was uh this fake chocolate, and I felt like I had no exterior around my brain. It felt like my brain was just all floating there. Yeah, and then the second time, and I tried my friend was like, Oh hey, try this edible, it's like a little gummy, and I'm like, okay, so I'm supposed to take the whole thing. Oh and and I took the whole thing and we went to go watch the Michael Jackson movie. Moonwalk. I gotta I gotta ask how was that moonwalk? Between the so for me that was very entertaining, but the the the fire scene with with the hair. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. This is devastating. I'm like, I don't remember his hair being on fire that long. I I you know, okay, so I'll say this. I remember and I might have said this in the past off another prior episode, the very first time I ever got hot, and for all my novice leaks out there, okay. Hey, I'm a novice too, so I feel bad. Okay, what I was not aware of is that and and and this is something too about that was very interesting, I guess, in the movie, a detail that I noticed Liz Khalifa does not smoke blunts. He is not a blunt smoker at all. He is very, very adamant and he says that he's very vocal. He goes, if people smoke blunts around him, he doesn't even want them around him. He's just now sort of letting people do that, but he is not a blunt person at all. And everybody has their preference. I'm more of a cone person, but first time I got high was some sour diesel from Cali. I was in, you know, Northeast Maryland, and my friend had rolled up a blunt and he said, Hey, go out in this little closet area, you know, outside and go ahead and get high, you know. So he's playing Xbox inside. I'm in this little shed thing, just smoking, and I'm like, what is the hype about? Like, what is like what why is everybody hyping this shit up? Like it's not doing anything. Well, what is that? What I thought I was aware of is that with a blunt, it creeps up on you. Like we normally does, but a blunt really kind of takes his time, you know, for that effect to kick in. So I remember I'm sitting there, Kyle, and I swear to you, when I was like in that chair, and like you know, you have like an old shit like moment, like, okay, something's up, like this this is feeling different. I just remember I was like, okay, I feel like I'm floating now and I'm not moving. Like, this isn't is this supposed to happen? Well, he sees me like tripping over myself trying to get in because I'm high, and I'm like, uh uh, like what's going on? He's like, How much of that blunt did you smoke? More than half? Oh shit. Charles, like, you weren't supposed to, I was give me an instruction manual on this shit. So how's this supposed to? So he was like, he was okay, we're just gonna have to have you hydrate, just relax, you're not feeling paranoid. I said, no. But when the high, the cerebral high came down, that's when I was like really, really happy and enjoying it. And on my way home, I better said this. I was only 45 minutes a straight shot. That's all I had to do, South Tupont Highway to Newcastle, Delaware. I'd hop in my little Corolla. I'm driving home, it's probably like one in the morning. It's dark out two-lane road. And I'm not high, but I'm pretty sure you can smell marijuana on me if you were near me. And you did see these cop lights flash right behind me. And for the bleaks out there, you know, I'm black in America, I'm screwed. Oh my god. My heart, when I said I became sober so fast in that moment because I had no idea what was gonna happen, and I was just going steady, I wasn't speeding, I wasn't swerving, and all of a sudden he just goes right around me and just takes off. And I'm like, oh my god, and I was like, okay, oh shit, we good. So then I like use expected and just get home. But for whiz, I I know what that feels like. You know, that first time you have a happy eye, a good, a good high, you know, not the paranoid high, but the good high. And I remember when I got home, man, that started my affair with Mary Jane at that point. I remember one time I was so high, I was walking my ex-wife's dog, and I was staring at this tree in the middle of the night. And I was just thinking, I wonder what this tree goes through throughout the year. Like, is it just like, you know, let pay like have squirrels pay rent or what? I must have been standing there for like 20 30 minutes just staring at this tree. My dog, the dog was too late, okay, are we gonna go inside now? So sorry guys for the tangent, but I just love how you saw his, I guess, his innocence, his his innocence, yeah, like go away, and he was open up you know his mind to you know a different part of like cannabis and everything. Yeah, I I I will say I I did enjoy that scene. I did like the when they were visiting the forgot her name, but they were visiting the I think she's a dentist or something. Where they did the okay, okay. And he was talking about like, oh yeah, there's medicinal and then there's oh the that was okay. I do like that scene. You you know what really it's crazy because I can't believe it's been 14 years since that movie's come out, but you can still see uh Snoop's youth from back then at that time. That was like to me, like when he came out with like like his hair was um braided, and then he he looked like he was coming from kind of like baby boy, kind of gave me that like that era that look that the you know the most like kind of like that iconic Snoop look, like oh, you know, and then to see Wiz before he had the little blanche freaking his hair, he had the little afro before he had the locks, and like you know, this was like his really like beginner days. I I really and guys, I'm a music nerd, so I really just love seeing artists at their like prime in a sense they're they're you're you know, just as a come up, that different era, you know, of like, oh hey, he he seemed I'm not saying uh I don't want any bleaks to cuss me out. I still love Wiskalifa's music, but there are times where there's certain artists that you know where you can be like, okay, back then that was when they were in that that zone, like you know, that hustle, that grind, or whatever. So yeah, no, I I agree with you there. I'm just thinking about the their original looks or their popular looks back then. Um, I I love Snoop's look. Um for some reason I forgot that he had that much hair. Oh, I guess he usually has a braid and a short and all that, and comes out of jail and it's like I'm like, okay. I'm like, yeah, Snoop, the thing I will say just even from this movie, he it he has been very consistent, consistently himself. And like something

The Real Moral Behind The Laughs]

that I take away from it is just the power of doing things that bring you joy and just continuing to do that, and no one should stop you from doing that. Yeah, yeah, you know, I it's just weird to say, but like forest funny movie actually has some morals, like in because most of the time when you see them, you know, you get into crazy shit, funny moment, and but you know, and it wasn't like a super serious movie, but like you like you mentioned, it did bring a good point as far as where like you know, Wizard's like, hey, look, like why are you always so happy or that he's like, you know, you only get one life to live, you shouldn't put all this pressure on yourself, you know. And I do think a lot of people the times that we're in, it was a very feel-good movie. For once it was like a nice movie where it wasn't like a chaotic situation, and it kind of showed I know this is weird saying this because it was over a decade ago, and just seeing how different things were before, you know, like social media on this level, and you know, and I know that movie's not reality, but it did kind of you know, some movies you can kind of be like, damn, was life so different like back then, and yeah, you know, what do I mean thinking about I mean I guess it would be similar to what high school was like, or at least for me, yeah. Yeah, you know, and that's a good thing too. Excuse me. Because everybody has a different experience. Some people loved it, some people hate it. Some people peeked too early in high school and they can't get past, you know, whatever it is that was like relevant for them or their relevancy and stuff like that. Well, see, and that's kind of what I thought about with Snoop because Snoop's like, oh, he's been there for 15 years, he's happy in his prime, his prime being the senior year of high school. He's like, Oh, that's the best year of my life. I don't want to stop. Yeah, it's like let me just keep continue to live that. Yeah, and and you know, that's funny because it's like, even though it's fictional, but I'm like, look, this dude would have been kicked out. He's like, by law, you cannot be in here, you gotta go to night school, get your GED or something else, but there's like no way in hell that you're gonna be in here with like a bunch of like 16-year-olds, 17-year-olds. Well, yeah, that and then turn around and basically his motivation of getting his degree is for it's for this person. Yeah, and it's like, man, it really made me think about like, man, you know, is is this us in black culture? And then I had to think about myself, like, crap, I'm like, I came out because of a person. Like I came out as a gay thinking as a gay man before a person, not even like, oh yeah, I want to do this one because of this, or you know, other things that were tied to like a person, like, oh, this person I'm interested in. I'm gonna do this because I want to do it for them. It's like, oh, this is crazy. Yeah, I you know, it's funny too, like, you know, not to spoil too much, but it's like his girl cheated on them as soon as they graduated, anyways. You know, by knees down, not not that I'm sure pizza cared, but it was like she was like, Oh, well, I'll you know, I'm gonna live my room because I think she was trying to play that whole prissy, you know, society, whatever, and then it's like you have to be PC, you need to be you need to fit within society's parameters, which is why I you know, the comment where she was like, Oh, you know, if you fuck up, we're done. And I'm like, wow, yeah, yeah. And I said, you know, to put that much pressure on him, but I'm so glad that Snoop because Snoop was like a good mentor in a sense. Like he's like, hey man, like one point we haven't discussed, but like with that movie, it is good to live in a moment, but another part is to you know, I was I'll say, like, we keep in mind is that those moments won't last forever. And you know, it was nice for he's like, hey, look, man, you got your whole life ahead of you. There is no point for you to just you know get so narrow and just so fixated on her when you have no idea what the future is gonna bring. So definitely enjoy yourself, but don't, you know, you know, not be yourself or someone else just to be happy. Absolutely. And he learned more about himself being with Snoop. So that that too. Graduation Speech And The Weed PSA

Um okay, so I'm gonna say, like, for the uh fourth point I wanted to ask, how did you feel about the the ending of the movie in general, like the graduation and I'd say, I mean, I feel like it's any standard high school experience, which is just I mean, obviously there's the celebration piece and and all of that, but the thing that I like was in the speech, it wasn't like you know, the standard speech that you hear from most people where it's like, oh yeah, I worked really hard and blah blah blah, happy future. It's like no, it's like let's enjoy the moment, it's okay to you know, say you know, smoke weed, drink, etc. Yes, you can still work towards the future. He didn't say these, but this is kind of how I took it. It's more of hey, it's okay, you can smoke weed, drink, have a good time, but also still focus on, you know, still focus on your future. Absolutely. I um and in that speech too, like you said, like focusing on the moment. I I like at the end where slowburn and he he put that like a public service announcement like, hey, for all you people who don't smoke marijuana, who judge people, like you know, he said it so eloquently, like, fuck y'all. And I'm not saying that's a good way to put that out there, but I like how he said, like, you know, he made a point, uh, a few points where he says, Hey, believe it or not, some of the greatest inspiration for music, movies, culture, or whatever have come from cannabis. You know, like it or not, it it there it does play a role in society as far as the things that we have enjoyed in creativity. I can speak to myself, some of my greatest munchy meals and recipes have come from a state of being, you know, high. And I was like, Oh, I would have never thought of that being sober, like, you know, like to really spruce something up, you know. Yeah, when he said, Oh, yeah, well, you just add a little bacon into the mix and then it tastes like that is a that is a good point, like you know, because I was thinking, like, okay, like I had I got really high one night and I had the munchies and I wanted something sweet, right? And I said, Oh, you know, I do have some frozen ego Belgian waffles. Oh, okay, I have some vanilla ice cream, oh, I have some like caramel syrup, oh, I have some bananas they can throw on there. I was like, oh, that's it. And then we don't know what it is, man. Like, I'm already a foodie, but marijuana takes that shit to a whole other. I will literally go out, like, y'all get so excited for a midnight munchie run just to go to a grocery store that's open to like 2, 3 in the morning and get all excited where I feel VIP. I'm like, I got the whole grocery store by myself and ice cream section. I'm look look, marijuana's made me an ice cream sandwich connoisseur now. Oh my god, I miss ice cream sandwiches. I haven't had those in a long time. It's been forever. Oh shoot. Well, look, I got like a whole dozen of them in my freezer right now. So if you like one, you're more than welcome to. I I just tell this this something, you know, just certain meals, man. Like it, it's like like this, there's a saying, there's like hunger is the best spice, marijuana is the best spice when it comes to that. Because there's some things where you're like, oh, well, you know what, if I put a little, you know, ooh black, so we got pussies and everything, right? We gotta give it a little flavor. But if there's something about that cannabis, really just you'd be like, you really kind of go like wolf gang puck with that shit. That five bologna sandwich turned into like a five, like a five-star meal. Like you're just like, then they go, oh man, he you know, he toasted the bread and he got this type of you know, mustard or whatever condiment. Oh my god. Oh, we use a pepper jet cheese. We ain't using like this. Is it just American garbage? Yeah, you know, they're like, oh, the temperature was all right. You got like a gourmet bologna sandwich off of cannabis, and you're just like, where else in the world, you know, comes up with that. I really do think there needs to be like, and it probably exists, just not in Texas, but like a restaurant that's catered to like like a menu catered to like munchies, like from 420 inspiration that are like really good tier level foods that you know people be like, oh, like and then and then it could be like a rating for like like a marijuana plant, like this is like three-star or this, you know, this kind of plant. Yeah, I got you. Yeah, see now some bleak out there, or someone's listening is gonna take that idea and run with it, and that's cool. Hey, I expect an invitation that that and a free free meal, okay? At least it should be like, hey, look, look, hey, that tribe called bleak was really putting us on with this 420 adventure with these movies, and that one stood out.

But to to end you know this this episode before we go, if Mac and Devin go to high school was a blunt, how many puffs would you need before you pass it on a scale one to five? I'm gonna do not gonna lie, I've tried to do four. Four? Oh yeah, I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna do four and a half. I'm gonna do four and a half again for all the bleaks out there, and Kyle and I were discussing this. I gotta be honest, man, I did not think this movie was gonna really like really make me enjoy it that much. I was like, I was like, oh, am I really liking this movie more than I expected? Like, not that I was gonna think it was gonna be bad, but you know, I was just thinking maybe because you know, both of them aren't trained actors and you know the plot, but I was like, oh, like I'll be honest, this will probably be one of those movies I probably watch in the fall. Yeah, like yeah, during the cozy time. Yeah, this does give me like that cozy type of vibe. And I and I gotta be honest, I love movies like that. I I have like in I would say October, November, I have what I call like a shitty movie list. And I'm not gonna say that's a shitty movie, but I have certain movies that they weren't box off the shed, but they do give you that cozy like vibe. Like there's certain movies I have to watch during certain times of the year, and another one um during Christmas time is uh that Bruce Willis movie, that actually, not the first one, but the second one. Um it's the dead uh you know his it's like this um his 90s action. I gotta I gotta see Oh, diehard too. I never watched any of the diehards. You never okay, okay. First one's great. I I love the second, but something about it just because it's the second one takes place in an airport. So he's fighting all these around Christmas, so it's snowing and you know, it's like freezing. And then his like his his wife is on a plane where she they can't land it because this terrorist organization is taking over the airport. So it's like a very, very like invested movie, like we all got through something. But yeah, that's what I like to like like another movie that feels that way, like I feel as um The Avengers like Endgame. Like when I saw that in theaters, we all felt like we went through something collectively. Like you didn't even know this person is sitting beside you, but y'all look at each other like, yeah, we did it. You just shake hands just because that movie brought you that emotional connection. Um certain movies just make me like get that cozy at the top that hit a little hurts. But uh, but no, guys, uh we both appreciate your patience. Um, you know, we have a lot more content with our schedules permit. So we do apologize for you know multiple men with careers, and you know, it was hard for me to get Kyle because his itineraries like all over the place, and I have we we were both going through life.
